Bios


Kimberly Abruzzo’s work has been seen in Disquieting Muses Quarterly, Boxcar Poetry Review, Can We Have Our Ball Back?, and Jellyfish Magazine. A writer currently residing in Massachusetts, Kimberly believes the world is very vast, and should be experienced accordingly.

Jack Morgan edits Sorry For Snake, a poetic journal. Jack Morgan is a scholar and a Gentleman.

Marissa Bell Toffoli lives in Berkeley, California. She holds an MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts. She works as an editor at UC Berkeley, a poet teacher with California Poets in the Schools, and reads submissions for Zoetrope: All-Story. For Poetry Out Loud, Marissa has coached students and judged school-wide competitions. She has been invited back annually as a writing judge for student recognition projects in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, and has also been a returning poetry judge for the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association (NCIBA) Book of the Year Awards.

Della Watson holds degrees from the University of Kentucky and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is the co-founder of the reconstruction room, a Chicago-based reading and performance series. Her poetry has appeared in Limestone, Make, The Hat, Denver Quarterly, Tarpaulin Sky, Parcel, nanomajority, Free Verse, The New Yinzer, eye-rhyme, alice blue, elimae, Left Facing Bird, Sorry for Snake, Mirage, word for word and others. She blogs at Wunderkammer and The Green Life.

Jessica Wickens’ poems have recently appeared in Little Red Leaves, Denver Quarterly, Sawbuck, Spell, and Switchback. She studied anthropology at the University of Chicago and creative writing at California College of the Arts. She co-edits the literary journal Monday Night and recently founded Skeptic Press. A native of Michigan, she currently works at a legal services center and lives in Oakland with human and feline companions.

Mike Young is the author of We Are All Good If They Try Hard Enough (Publishing Genius 2010) and the chapbook MC Oroville's Answering Machine (Transmission Press). He co-edits NOÖ Journal and Magic Helicopter Press.
